Create users in your application

Custody users are created only through the API. Your application keeps its own user ID (external_id) next to the id returned by Coino Live. Staff do not create accounts in the dashboard; they inspect the resulting user records.

Associate each payment with a user

The application creates a payment for an existing account and retains the payment reference. Asset, network, amount and account association need to stay together. That linkage allows the dashboard to show a coherent user history rather than a list of deposits with no account context.

Distinguish pending and available funds

Awaiting and confirming deposits are separate from confirmed, credited balances. The account view groups available balances by asset and network. A new request should not change the available balance simply because its record exists. Repeated backend updates should not credit the same deposit twice.

Connect the real contract

The Custody guide and the API reference list the real endpoints, the authentication and the response fields.
